Applicants are invited to apply for the above vacancy within the Engineering Department, based at the Port of Great Yarmouth.

Role Purpose: To provide project and programming resource to all departments within the Great Yarmouth Operations Business Unit, this will include coordination of Great Yarmouth capital programme and timings.



This role will include the following responsibilities:


-Implement processes and tools, providing systems reports, maintaining and updating electronic information systems, distributing documents, and ensuring accuracy of all documentation
-Develop and maintain up to date records of all projects and programmes and ensure there is an effective 'change control’ process to review and sign off
-Coordinate with all departments to ensure that documents are kept in the right location and are accessible to specific user access groups
-Support the engineering team and other teams with project documentation creation in company systems (e.g. Midas)
-Be a role model, demonstrating required behavior, setting standards and influencing others to achieve objectives
-Develop effective working relationships with the Engineering Team, Operations Team, QSSHE Team and other managers and process owners
-To be responsible for specific operational requirements as set out in the Engineering Responsibility Matrix
-Adhere to our Safety365 policies with specific responsibility for ensuring the safe working of all staff and promoting a safe place to work without risk

Applicants interested in this role should ideally possess the following skills and experience:


-5 G.C.S.E / O Levels or equivalent at Grade C or above including Maths and English
-Experience working as a project coordinator or project administrator on medium to large projects
-Knowledge of technical documentation management, security and retention
-Capable of working effectively under pressure in a fast-moving operational environment
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-Excellent communication skills to ensure that all correspondence, whether verbal or written, is clear, concise and accurate
-Highly motivated self-starter focused and driven to achieve goals in line with business targets and deadlines
-Project management qualification such as Prince 2 would be desirable but is not essential
