It’s our mission to empower the world of education, and in the role of Project Coordinator you will help us to achieve this mission by providing the support which assists the delivery of our educational improvement services.

Tribal are working with MEI to provide the DfE contract to run the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP). The AMSP aims to increase participation in A level Mathematics, A level Further Mathematics and Core Maths. The AMSP will support schools and colleges throughout England, delivering professional development for teachers and providing enrichment and tuition for students. The contract for this role will run until 30 April 2020 in the first instance, although there may be opportunities for extension, subject to continued government funding.

The Role

The purpose of this role is to provide coordination and administrative support for a range of different activities for the Priority Areas within the Advanced Maths Support Programme (AMSP).

Day to day your role will be busy and varied. You will assist in the coordination of different activities across the project working to support the Priority Area Lead and Region Leads. You will assist with month end finance data in line with policy. You will generate and update project documentation and collate information for reporting purposes. You will assist in planning of meetings along with minute taking and action points documenting and follow up reminders. You will prepare presentation and meeting packs to a high standard. Additionally, you will assist in travel arrangements for the team.

What Experience can I bring to the role?

Excellent administrative and organisational skills are required for this role along with experience working in a fast-paced project administration role. Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and excel is essential. Additionally, liaising with customers, inputting information into databases, and the ability to manage your own workload and to meet deadlines in a busy office environment are also all essential. Any experience you have of using MS SharePoint and Microsoft Project will be advantageous.

Communication skills are equally important for this role, as you will regularly liaise with our clients and colleagues.

We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with a passion for education. Whilst it’s not essential that you have a work history in an education setting, an existing familiarity with education terminology and practice would be advantageous, to help you quickly get up to speed working in this environment.
