Your new role
Working within the projects division, you will be working closely with the Team Leader and Project Coordinator to ensure the smooth and efficient management of administrative and project coordination tasks. Your main responsibilities will include creating new jobs on the system, handling purchase orders, planning procurement and deliveries to sites. You will work with other departments and colleagues to ensure projects are running to briefs and times, providing updates and acting as point of contact for customers. You will also be involved with assisting with budgets, compiling project documentation, preparing cost reports and helping to assist with the associated administrative tasks. You will require your own transport due to the location of the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 1 years recent experience working within a busy, commercial office ideally within a Project Coordinator role. You will be a confident, proactive individual with high attention to detail, capable of managing your priorities to ensure that you meet strict deadlines. You will be an effective communicator, able to handle high volumes of customer contact via phones and emails; whilst keeping your colleagues updated simultaneously. You will have financial or business knowledge, able to confidently work with profits and margins to provide budget information. You will be a fast learner and keen team player, with enthusiasm to take on new challenges and work to your own development. A Prince2 certificate would be advantageous, but not an essential requirement.
