We are looking to recruit a telecoms sector Project Administrator / Coordinator who can support a network build programme in conjunction with local councils around Southern and Western UK. Based from home this will be working for a rapid growth FTTP network owner who are coming at things with a different slant.
This particular position will be supporting the Regional Project Manager and civils teams around the South and South West, scheduling surveys and installations of fibre into properties, which will normally be high value residences.
Ideally, you will have supported projects around telecoms build / full fibre previously and have a familiarity of how things work, and the terminology within a client and contractor, NRSWA environment.
You`ll be working in the project team responsible for the network delivery of full fibre solutions and you`ll be responsible for:
* Distribution of daily NRSWA reports and carry out jeopardy management tasks for all relevant orders.
* Liaison with subcontractors and delivery team to coordinate noticing with programme
* Liaise with subcontractors to obtain notice updates
* Liaise with local authorities & traffic management suppliers to deal with enquiries
* Jeopardy Managing Notices to ensure compliance with NRSWA
* Creating and updating various spreadsheets on Excel - all round Microsoft Office skills would be assumed, with Microsoft Project experience a bonus.
This is going to be a fast moving delivery programme but with a strong eye on quality, so you should be well versed in a similar telecoms environment and you`ll be able to point to a track record of supporting the administration of similar projects.
Position will involve some business travel into London and also to Bristol but expenses will be paid for those trips.
It's a varied role with plenty of scope and the carrot is the chance to join the business fairly early, help to play a part in the scalability and process and then hopefully be in a strong position in the coming months and years as they continue to grow in the UK.
