Role: Project Communications Manager

Location: UK Remote

Salary: £40,000

This business has major plans and recently secured significant funding, to support its development and growth across the UK. Working proactively with the delivery teams to manage engaging project updates across their multiple national rollout campaigns.

  • Leading project management within a matrix team, ensuring both internal and stakeholders are regularly informed of the status and understand project scopes, timelines actions, and priorities
  • Communications programme and will be accountable for managing the communications plan by coordinating and delivering project update communications to senior stakeholders
  • Driving effective prioritisation and appropriate delegation of tasks
  • Leading stakeholder management, taking a frontline role in project calls and presentations to align on project scope, direction and managing expectations where needed
  • Managing the planning, creating and updating of all project details in line with the communications plan
  • Continual improvement and enhancement of the communications plan
  • Taking a leading role in the development of strategic communications plans, project proposals, and pitches for new business
  • Providing direction and guidance and delegating to internal and external supporting staff or external partners
  • Developing and managing project budgets through to approval
  • Managing engagement with multiple stakeholders, including government bodies
  • Perform continuous improvement reviews of the Communications strategy
  • Alignment of communications programme to guidelines, policies, and procedures

Strength in building client relationships and managing client stakeholders, with the ability to manage a matrix team comprising a wide range of skills/functions. Aptitude and interest in training/coaching junior team members. Exceptional communications skills and outstanding writing, proofreading and editing skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
