This role is an integral part of managing relationships between the company, suppliers and sales teams within the organisation. We are looking for someone with tendering experience, commercial awareness, resilience, attention to detail and good judgement with some technical ability (ideally electrical/electronic).
You will be working alongside sales teams and will need to have a proactive approach to generate new opportunities.
The role is responsible for defining and documenting customer needs as part of an RFQ / Specification activity, working with Finance and Sales to agree to commercial terms. The role delivers a fully costed specification pack to the EFS engineering team for design and manufacture. Any changes to the specification or technical support required by the customer relating to this order are managed by this role.
This role would suit someone that has a project coordinator or technician background with experience of pulling together complex tender documents and strong commercial acumen. You will be applying sound project management experience on a daily basis, to manage any customer change requests and track status/progress of the system build and delivery; bringing all departments together to efficiently execute agreed customer needs.
Desirable Skills / Experience are -
- MRP exposure
- Project Manager experience wither Microsoft Project or Prince 2
- Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD
- Have awareness of production supply chains
- Tender experience
