My client is a great business to work for seeking to add a Project Accountant to their team on a 1 year fixed term contract.
The core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Implementation of accounting standard or policy changes as they affect systems and processes of the shared services team Support for the transition of financial reporting software (HFM to SAPFC)
Implementation of automated balance sheet reconciliation software
Enhancement of system capabilities for the bank reconciliation process
Alignment of intercompany processes and investigation of possibilities for an intercompany management system
Development of an intercompany netting solution within the current ERP system Support for the transition between banking providers and knock-on system and process changes required
Analysis and enhancement of system capabilities in relation to VAT reporting
Improvement of balance sheet integrity and controls reporting Rework of management fee models and calculations
Data interrogation to analyse and improve process efficiency
Metrics reporting enhancements and benchmarking
Business case preparation as necessary
Other projects as the need arises
The successful candidate will:
- Have a broad accounting knowledge
- Have good Excel skills
- Be immediately available and prepared to undertake a one year contract
- Ideally have experience of Six Sigma
