Working in concert with the financial controller, some of the role's core duties include:
* Ensuring invoices are processed and suppliers paid to ensure project cash flow.
* Working with the integrated project teams to post journals and update rolling financial forecasts.
* Form project sales trading plans with the relevant manager.
* Work on the company's integrated business plan and phased budget.
You will be an outstanding communicator, with a proven record of managing and leading project teams. You will have experience working in a matrix structure, in an organisation where it is common to liaise with public sector bodies in a third party context.
The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified, and will either have a professional accountancy qualification, or be working towards one. Robust Excel skills are a must, while experience using SAP is considered advantageous, but not essential. This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate passionate about the industry to progress to a more senior project role in the future.
