Project Accountant

Badenoch and Clark are working with an award winning Social Housing provider in the North West.

After rapid growth and development in the past few months, this housing provider is looking for a Project Accountant to join their wider finance team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

This role is reporting to the Finance Manager, and will be responsible for leading a finance transformation project within the organisation.


The project accountant will also be accountable for managing an assistant accountant.
They will work closely with the Development Team producing financial monitoring /cashflow information reporting on the organisation's development programme expenditure to date and forecasts over the life of the programme.
To monitor the Invest to Grow and Invest to Save Funds, and appraise all projects that have used the funds.
To be involved in the implementation of new finance system procedures and processes.

The Ideal Candidate:

Will be Fully AAT qualified.
Part ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
Have Not-For-Profit experience.
Have experience implementing a new finance system.
Be available to start as soon as possible.
