Project Accountant - Temporary Role - STRONG EXCEL ESSENTIAL

The key responsibilities of this role will be to provide general financial support to Project Managers and Partners with managing their budgets successfully. This will include duties such as:

  • Working with excel - MACRO LEVEL REQUIRED
  • Project Set-up,
  • Project reviews,
  • Reconciliations of project variances and WIP,
  • Issue of WIP report
  • Analysis of project costs against budget
  • Support PM' with managing WIP, invoicing and AR and any associated queries
  • Set-up and manage project trackers in excel,
  • Ad hoc queries,
  • Reporting,
  • Provide ongoing training of Project Managers, Partners and Admin Staff
  • Weekly checking and updating of project fee rates

The project accountant must be able to develop good working relationships with stakeholders on all levels and must therefore be very professional, outgoing and approachable.

Candidates must be proficient on excel and confident up to macro level. Candidates without this level of excel experience will not be considered for the position.
