A Project Accountant (Construction) is required to join a leading specialist construction company, based close to Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey. The company is a key player in developing and maintaining Britain's built environment and operates in highly regulated environments, making sites ready for new infrastructures and developments.

The company are seeking a qualified or QBE Project Accountant with a construction industry background. Ideally the Project Accountant will be familiar with the COINS ERP software. He or she will assist with the collection, reconciliation, extraction and manipulation of data from the company's existing accounting system and in loading this data into the various COINS modules.

Reporting to the Group Controller, who is responsible for the implementation of COINS throughout the group, the Project Accountant will be confident with the full range of Excel data manipulation tools and preferably have some experience with SQL and be familiar / understand CVRs (Cost-Value Reconciliations or Cost Value Comparisons), the treatment of applications & certificates and be knowledgeable of the differing VAT treatment of invoices, self-billing, authenticated receipts for both group's own income and that of subcontractor's applications.
