An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a pivotal role leading and managing North Lanarkshire Council’s Programme Implementation Team in the delivery of their strategic vision for the expansion of Early Learning and Childcare entitlement to 1140 hours by 2020. This is a chance to help make a difference to the lives of children and families across North Lanarkshire Council
Based within Municipal Buildings, Kildonan Street, Coatbridge you will be a solutions focussed, creative thinker as you will be responsible for setting out project execution strategies and identifying and delivering on business needs. You will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of inter-agency working.
Educated to Honours Degree Level, or equivalent, in a relevant subject, you will have substantial project leadership experience, a Project Management (or similar) qualification and a proven track record delivering complex programmes, on time and within budget. You will also have well developed Risk Management skills.
In addition you will have substantial experience of procurement practices in the public sector and experience of both Capital and Revenue financial planning experience at a senior level.
