Rates - up to £527.24(Ltd) £466.80 (PAYE) In Scope of IR35
About the role / project:
This is a lead role for the controls function on the King's Cross Remodelling Project.
What you will do:
*To act as the lead, and provide functional line management, for all team members associated with project controls
*To act as the lead, and provide functional line management, for all team members associated with the planning function
*To develop and fully implement visualisation and lean on the project
*To lead the collation and production of MBR information both within the project and externally into NR
*To lead the production of reports from project plans to demonstrate progress, and identify areas for management attention
*To produce earned value reports every period
*To verify the accuracy of all reports produced internally in the project and externally within NR
*To act as the lead for project improvement and engagement initiatives
*To lead on the production of high quality monthly team briefs
*To hold a weekly team meeting with all planning and control staff both within the hub and in the spokes
To lead the project induction process (not the safety induction) and manage the new starter process
*To ensure reports are produced every period on progress against delivery volumes
*To track all deliverables through the GRIP / IELC lifecycle
*To lead the document control function
*Visualise the scope on a plan and keep up to date
*Ensure a periodic box plan of possessions is produced each period
Your experience will include:
* Document control experience
* Project experience
* Programme controls experience
* HND or NVQ equivalent in construction or equivalent engineering discipline.
* Successful relevant experience of investment or project control systems and processes.
* Excellent communication skills.
