Professional Indemnity Senior Associate

Our client's market-leading professional disputes practice defends some of the most high profile and complex professional negligence claims in the world. At the root of every professional negligence case is complex commercial litigation, and the Partners in the group are amongst the cleverest and best regarded litigators in the City - this elite team are the "go to" experts, called upon by professionals of all types (including other law firms) and their insurers to defend their decisions and reputations.

They are ambitious and busy, and to support this growth, they are now looking to recruit a seasoned insurance disputes Lawyer in the London oiffice with experience acting for professional services firms and their insurers in defending claims against accountants, auditors and tax advisors, and audit regulatory investigations..

If you join them, you will join them in advising some of the largest professional services firms in the world and their brokers and insurers on complex professional indemnity and a range of other insurance issues.

Prior experience of insurance or professional negligence would be highly regarded, but is not required for this role. What is required, is:

• A top notch academic background, and a genuine interest and aptitude for complex litigation;
• Training and PQE from a rated international or City firm;
• Probably at least 5 years' post-qualification experience in complex commercial litigation - experience acting on regulatory investigations for accountancy firms would be highly regarded;
• The confidence to manage and prioritise a full and varied caseload; and
• Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
