The role: 
The main purpose of the role is to support the professional development of the Financial Advisers via professional industry qualifications and internal licensing exams.

Key Responsibilities:
To support the creation, updating and monitoring of our internal on-line licensing exams
Answering queries and providing feedback to candidates on exam attempts
To consult with employees and Financial Advisers on the professional qualifications requirements and provide guidance on achieving Chartered status (create individual bespoke routes to Chartered)
To promote Chartered status and professional qualifications via attendance at locations meetings, group sessions and one to one meetings
To support the Advanced Diploma Module (Level 6 qualification attracting 30 CII Advanced Diploma credits)
To support oversight and governance of CII Chartered firms with initial application and renewal process
Regular travel to Locations to provide professional development consultancy

Required Skills:
Consultancy and influencing skills required to explain the examination structure and encourage Advisers to work towards Chartered
Empathy and understanding of the pressure for individuals taking professional qualifications whilst still running a business
Ability to deal with people at all levels in the business
Analytical, with good attention to detail
Effective time management and organisation
Ability to work accurately and to strict deadlines
Good team player

The Person:
Must have theDiploma in Financial Planning and ideally working towards Chartered
Have a thorough understanding of the CII examination and qualification structures and the requirements for being awarded Chartered status
Have a good knowledge of the regulatory background, structure and role of the FCA within Financial Services
Have good technical Financial Services knowledge and 3+ years Financial Services experience
Good understanding of the CII’s Chartered firm requirements, including structure, internal processes and qualification criteria
Ability to analyse individual current CII qualifications to design bespoke routes to Chartered for Advisers
