Job Title: Production Team Leader

Location: Trafford Park, Lancashire

Salary: £24000 to £24000

Hours: (Must be flexible) 7am – 3pm / 8am – 4pm

The Candidate

• Able to manage, motivate and lead a team to achieve targets

• Excellent customer focus and commitment to ensuring garments produced to customer satisfaction

• Attention to detail with good concentration and ability to focus

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

• Able to work as part of a team

• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills and able to juggle competing demands

• Computer literate: knowledge of Microsoft office

• Able to remain calm under pressure

• Good problem solving skills

• Strong commitment to self-development and a desire to contribute to constantly improving our service

• Technical aptitude for working with machines and computers

Production Team Leader

The Role

You will be responsible for managing our clients' busy Transfer Production team to ensure all applications are produced right first time, every time to our customers' specifications. To be successful in this role you will need effective leadership and motivational skills, live their Company core values, work well under pressure to targets and keep yourself at the forefront of garment decoration technology to ensure our client is number 1 with customer service, quality and speed.

• To ensure your team produces printed garments to customer specifications

• To monitor workflow to ensure that all garments are produced and despatched on time

• To resolve any issues or customer complaints - problem-solving and trying to improve the printing process to reducing amount of errors/ complaints

• Morning meetings - Attend meetings relating to production efficiency, performance and capacity

• To recruit, train, retain and motivate your team, delegating appropriately, resolve issues to deliver the best service and achieve team targets

• To ensure the cleanliness and appropriate organisation of the workplace ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards.

• To manage the administration of your team including:

o Clocking system (clock in/ clock out) - you will be responsible for monitoring your team's correct hours of work and providing this data to Payroll

o Webmail - setting up email account for new employees

o Cezanne - approving holidays for all employees in your team

o Plan rota shift / holidays for your team

o Absence monitoring - produce monthly absence reports

o Hold regular one-to one meetings/annual appraisals

o Ensure team trained with development plans

o Succession planning - to ensure team is responsive to business needs
