This market leading manufacturing Company are looking for an experienced Production Shift Manager to join their team.

Your new role

You will be responsible for driving shift performance, providing excellent communication and service to customers and leading Lean initiatives across your shifts. You will be building effective relationships with Management teams, managing spending against labour and material budgets, initiating plans and processes which minimise manufacturing costs and developing employee engagement. This will include coaching and developing team members and improving staff utilisation within existing departments/processes and acting as a role model for all agreed people management practices.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a pro-active and well-organised individual with an ability to communicate effectively. Proven and demonstrable experience in Production, Manufacturing and / or Operations Management you will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and be able to cope with varying workloads. A degree within a related area (engineering or manufacturing) would be advantageous.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive salary between: £30,000-£35,000 plus additional benefits. Please note the shift rotation will be 6-2 & 2-10.
