Production Planning Assistant

About the company: Our client is a well-established company based in Ashbourne, and they are looking for a temporary Production Planning Assistant to join their team on a temporary on-going basis. There is potential for this to become a permanent position.

Candidates should ideally be immediately available or have a short notice period.

- Dealing with enquiries via email and over the phone
- Liaising with suppliers
- Printing production schedules
- Process invoice queries
- Dealing with orders
- Producing reports
- Checking production rates and raw material prices
- Contacting vendors
- Checking inventories
- General administrative duties as required

About you: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the same or similar role. Previous administration experience is essential. You will have good attention to detail, strong communication skills and good computer skills.

What is in it for you? This is a full-time role working Mon-Fri (8:30am - 5:30pm), paying a salary of £8.40 p/h. This position is starting off on a temporary on-going basis, but with the views to becoming permanent. There is on-site parking available also.
