Joining a global leader the Production Planner will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of production plan working with Production Managers and their teams to achieve customer service goals through efficient manufacturing.

Role - Production Planner / Production Scheduler

Location - Kiddington, Oxfordshire

Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

Type - Permanent

Key roles and responsibilities for Production Planner / Production Scheduler role and not limited to:

  • Create production planning using MRP output from the ERP system
  • Deal with suggested changes for jobs and purchase orders from ERP system
  • Release jobs for warehouse to pick in line with assembly requirements
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to prevent the onset of back orders
  • Attend review and customer meetings where appropriate
  • Update site production plan and present at production meetings
  • Ensure all customer requirements are communicated to production line

Key skills and experience required for Production Planner / Production Scheduler role and not limited to:

  • Proven experience as a Production Planner / Scheduler
  • Manufacturing background is essential
  • MRP system experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • IT Literate
