Title: Production Operator

Location: Folkestone, Kent

Hours: 12 hour shift 4 on 4 off

My client based in Folkestone, Kent is looking for an exceptional person who can demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills, be enthusiastic and a team player with a positive attitude to learning, to work on their high speed automated production line. You will be working 4 days on, 4 days off and will be permanently allocted day shifts (6am-6pm) or night shifts (6pm-6am) and applicants are free to state their preference for day or nights when applying. You will ensure that your high-speed production line runs effectively and efficiently, ensuring that problems and faults are rectified quickly and ensure that quality and good manufacturing checks are carried out. Working as part of a small team, you will be involved in ordering and loading components, line start up checks, change overs and wash downs, controlling parameters using computers to run the line, reading and understanding alarms and problem solving any issues that arise.

Previous experience of working within a FMCG manufaturing environment would be desirable.

You must have a basic understanding of Mathematics and working with computers.

A good standard of verbal and written English.

Previous experience of using SAP would be an advantage.
