We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with one of the UK's leading and most recognized confectionery brands as a Production Operative in Halifax, HX1 4EY.
This is an exciting role where you will be involved in the production process of new products with plenty of opportunities to progress within your role!
Your pay rate as a Production Operative:
- For the first 12 weeks Days: £11.44 p/h | Overtime: £17.60p/h
- For the first 12 weeks Nights: £12.52 p/h | Overtime: £18.78 p/h
- After 12 weeks Days: £12.75 p/h | Overtime: £19.13 p/h
- After 12 weeks Nights: £13.85 p/h | Overtime: £20.78 p/h
- Overtime is Paid over 40 hour
We have a range of shifts available as a Production Operative:
- Day shift: 06:00am - 18:00pm | 06:00pm - 14:00pm | 14:00pm - 22:00pm
- Night shift: 18:00pm - 06:00am | 22:00pm - 06:00am
Duties include:
- You will work on continuous production lines in Process, Picking & Packing, or Wrapping
- You will be responsible for carrying out basic quality checks & maintaining high production standards
- You will develop and represent the understanding of good manufacturing practice, HACCP systems, and Health & Safety in the workplace
- A flexible approach to work and the ability to cope with a fast-paced working environment is essential Manual handling or lifting may be required for up to 15kg and as part of the team
Location: Halifax, HX1 4EY
Please be aware that you will need to arrange your own transport on Saturday and Sunday at 6am as there is no public transport running. Please consider the option of alternative transport.
