Production Operative; Crewe; 19-month contract, 3 shift systems in operation, 37 hours per week.
We are currently recruiting production operatives to be based at our client site near Crewe.
The post holder will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment in the manufacture of small arms ammunition.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safety
Escalate issues effecting safety within the given production area.
Ensure processes are operated in a safe manner.
Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and risk assessments.
Quality
Ensure that work undertaken adheres to relevant quality standards.
Cost
Support the attainment of manufacturing costs and standards
Attendance and contribution at daily Team reviews
Delivery
Operation of plant and equipment to meet production programme requirements
People
Take part in regular performance reviews - individual and team.
Support a flexible and agile work force by being willing to work across different areas of the production environment.

Please note that applicants must be able to work all shifts (6-2,2-10 and 10-6)
