Production Operative

My client - a hardworking, friendly organisation based in Buxton - is looking for a Production Operator to assist with their current workload.

You will be working within a manufacturing environment, and the role will involve a variety of tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the site.

Typical duties will involve:

  • Loading in goods
  • General moving and handling duties as requested
  • Using IT systems to update information
  • Assisting with the daily production of the site
  • Operating plant equipment such as forklift, cherry picker and loader

We are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role - ideally you will have a forklift license, but this is not compulsory.

The job is to start as soon as a suitable candidate is appointed, and will work on the following shift basis:

Daytime: 06:00 - 18:00

Nights: 18:00 - 06:00

The general shift pattern is 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off.

The role will initially run for around 3-months - however, there may be a longer term or permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Pay Rate: £10 per hour
