This is a rare opportunity to join the RPC Group plc - a global design and engineering company specialising in polymer conversion in packaging and non-packaging markets. Highly acquisitive, this successful Group generates sales in excess of $3 billion p.a. from over 188 operations across 33 countries.

With a turnover of £16m p.a., this rapidly expanding business is now seeking to recruit a Production Manager with strong leadership and continuous improvement skills.

Reporting to the Production Director, you will be responsible for a workforce of c60 across Production, including a small Technical and Engineering support team. You will assume day to day production responsibility, adopting a 'hands on’ approach to delivering maximum efficiencies and optimum production levels, whilst developing the company’s continuous improvement culture, and maintaining the site’s strong Health & Safety performance.

Candidates will have a strong production background, with a sound engineering appreciation, gained in a progressive, high volume manufacturing environment. Experience of plastics or plastics injection moulding would be a distinct advantage.

With a practical approach and ability to 'lead from the front’ you will be able to demonstrate sound team leadership experience, with a focus on continuous improvement. Energy, enthusiasm, passion and flexibility are all prerequisites for this key role.
