This business provides high quality products to a wide range of technology companies, developers and OEM's. Due to continued growth and internal promotions, they are now looking to hire an experienced, professional Production Manager to ensure continued quality, maintaining their existing high reputation to their clients.
This position will have responsibility for over 40 staff covering several department, goods in, stores, assembly, inspection, test, final sub assembly and Quality Control. Reporting to the MD you will have proven knowledge of assuming production responsibility for BOM's and production forecasting, making sure materials and stores are adequate for upcoming projects as well as taking responsibility for staffing/training and development, quality procedures and KPI’s.
You will need a proven, solid understanding of ISO procedures and ideally have a working history of manufacturing and quality methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, PPAP and APQP. Having knowledge within the electronics and PCB assembly/test industry and working in clean room environments will be an essential aspect of your background and experiences as they are crucial to the smooth running of the production department, reviewing ways to maximise and improve efficiency.
