We are currently seeking a Production Engineering Manager to fulfil a role in a fast paced food manufacturing environment in Milton Keynes on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role is new to the business and essential duties will include hands ondiagnosis, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, to ensure the production floor is maintained to the highest level and some planning and scheduling which is vital to the smooth running of the business. As well as the hands on repair and maintenance of the machinery, your main responsibility will be to set up a PPM schedule.

The right candidate will have a diploma or equivalent qualification in electrical and mechanical engineering, at least 5 years’ experience in a fast paced production environment and a strong electrical and mechanical background. You will also have written PPM’S in previous roles and will possess good man management skills in order to mentor junior team members. Experience of working with gas equipment would be an advantage.

This role offers an attractive salary of up to £50k per annum, dependant on experience and a discretionary bonus.

You will work office hours from Monday to Friday and some flexibility will required to work occasional weekends for shutdown maintenance.
