Location: Manchester
Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 8am - 4pm + overtime available + Company share scheme
Benefits: Company pension, Company share scheme and Company bonus scheme, Company PPE, Optional overtime

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Engineer on behalf of one of our fantastic clients who require someone to be located at their Manchester depot.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned, preventive and reactive mechanical maintenance to production plant and equipment.
  • Diagnose faults accurately and timely, and identify correct solutions to rectify, ensuring all internal documents i.e. service reports and logs are completed to a high standard.
  • Mechanical fault finding.
  • Maintain and service a range of machinery.
  • Take pride in work to ensure the machines are kept in a pristine state.



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, pulleys, bearings, shafts and gearboxes.
  • Good understanding of health safety.
  • Experienced in the use of workshop equipment.
  • Experience in a production engineering role desirable.
  • Computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel desirable).
