Our client are part of a large group of electronics manufacturers who have a presence in nearly 100 companies. A leading company in their specialist sector, they are seeking a Production Coordinator & Electronics Technician to join their busy and talented team.
The Production Coordinator & Electronics Technician is a varied role, involving the coordination of a small team of Electronics Engineers, managing stock, reporting to management, manufacturing, calibrating, testing and repairing electronics goods, and other relevant tasks.
The right candidate for the Production Coordinator & Electronics Technician role will have at least 5 years' experience of working within an electronics manufacturing or testing environment, and will be able to perform both through hole and surface mount soldering. You will have experience working with cable assemblies, and will be a confident user of electronic testing equipment. While it isn't necessary, experience of managing a team would be a distinct advantage. You must also either hold at least a HNC/ONC/NVQ in Electronic Engineering, or have completed an apprenticeship in the field. Good English, Maths, and Science grades at GCSE level are also essential.
