We are currently recruiting for a Production Coordinator / Customer Service Manager for our Paignton based client. The key focus of this role is to ensure that necessary materials are in place for orders, to ensure that they are dispatched on time. You will also be in charge of keeping track of customer returns and ensuring that all relevant paperwork is completed and filed. A key focus of this role is to be the vital link between stores and production, ensuring that and non-standard parts are delivered in time to ensure timely dispatch of the customers complete order. You will need excellent communication skills as you will have lots of interaction with the customers. They are looking for a strong team player, who will become a pivotal part of their efficient team. Full product training will be provided, however a background in the engineering or mechanical sector, may give you a bit of an advantage, as you will likely pick up their product information quickly. You would be situated in an office on the factory floor, alongside the other relevant departments to ensure a clear line of communication.
Duties will include;
- Monitoring the order book.
- Ensuring that the system correctly reflects the orders.
- Placing orders via the purchasing department for any non-standard parts.
- Close Liaison with the office, factory, despatch, quality and logistics teams.
- Regular liaison with customers in relation to their orders and returns.
- Tracking customer returns.
- Updating the CRM System.
To be successful in this role you will need excellent IT and Systems knowledge, with very good attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are also a must, and you must be a real team player. On top of the salary advertised you will benefit from an annual bonus, worth up to 10% of the annual salary. Working hours are 8am - 4.30pm. Apply today for immediate consideration.
