Production Controller - Aviation

Production Controller
Initial Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay rate: £16.50p/h (PAYE) or £21p/h ( Ltd)
Role Summary:

Responsible for delivering our clients requirements in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

Key Accountabilities:
*Work with suppliers to ensure material availability to agreed schedules.
*Supply Chain delivery assurance from minus 4 weeks to production.
*Work with supply chain team to effectively management of the escalation process for both internal and external supply.
*Manage Lines of Balance for each Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) within their responsibility.
*Develop production and kitting plans.
*Validate schedule to capacity.
*Manage work order release in line with MPS requirement.
*Inventory control/accuracy.
*Manage escalation process when a sustained deviation from plan occurs.
*Management of Engineering change introduction.
*Management of SAP inventory transactions in line with agreed processes.
*Working with operators, production schedules, materials and equipment to ensure on time in full delivery to all Customers.
*Communication of all customer delivery commitments.

Measures of success:
*Customer OTD: OE, NPI, Spares and customer returns.
*MPS adherence.
*Inventory accuracy.

Basic Qualifications & Person Specification:
*Good influencing skills and ability to cope under pressure.
*Responsive to change working in an environment of continuous improvement.
*Demonstrable use of SAP and Excel.
*Highly motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
