Preferably someone who has done production administration before but also has MRP experience.
Ideally looking for someone who has been involved in raising purchase orders/creating pick lists/someone one who is able to look at a back order report and respond to defined safety stock levels which in turn drives production requirements.
Production experience in an FMCG or HVM environment.
You responsibilities will include:-
*Develop production schedules consistent with finished product demand and release WO's in accordance with this schedule.
*Procure inventory materials based on materials requirement planning (MRP) reports, Kanban Levels, and upcoming integration projects to ensure production does not run out of material.
*Create purchase orders, communicating and negotiating with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing and delivery.
*Maintains accurate records and documentation for history and audit purposes, including PO and incoming inspection records.
*Maintains an approved vendor list (AVL) in accordance with business system requirements.
*Negotiates with suppliers to obtain the best possible price and service level. Obtain and maintain a good supplier-customer relationship.
*Sourcing of new suppliers where applicable.
*Performs additional duties and assignments as directed by management.
*Maintain sales/Production requirement records to enable data tracking.
*Communicate with Distribution centres in to update on deliveries and respond to any requests for information as directed.
*End of month reports to provide update on both production and sales figures
You must have strong administration skills and have experience in materials planning/procurement.
Monday to Friday 8.00- 5.00 £8.00+ per hour.
