£16,000 - £17,500 per annum

This is a great opportunity to join a large manufacturing company in the Sheffield/Rotherham area working in there administration team.

Key Purpose:

To provide general administration support for production services, including support for customer service, purchasing and be the interface with other departments.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Raise and send purchase orders for various purchase items stock requests being approved from the supplier/price lists
  • Managing & co-ordinating order acknowledgements & delivery performance for all suppliers
  • Raise purchase orders for expected receipts into warehouse & create new stock lines when necessary
  • Manage and communicate booking in facility on behalf of approved suppliers in to the warehouse
  • General admin, answering telephone, photocopying & email
  • Resolve any receipt queries with goods-in areas
  • Liaise with accounts to ensure that such items are not invoiced by the supplier or are credited
  • Filing and retrieving

Required skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • IT literate (Excel, word and outlook)
  • Knowledge of production processes would be an advantage
