Job Purpose

  • To be first point of engagement for sales teams with Eaton product or process queries
  • Grow awareness internally and within Eaton of Exertis Value Add Services
  • To gain a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the entire Eaton Power and Infrastructure portfolio
  • Develop expert product knowledge and keeping up to date with new technologies and developments in the market
  • Support Sales and Business Development functions as well as customers from a technical perspective
  • Manage project pipeline and quote trackers from Sales
  • Build relationships with key Eaton contacts including Distribution, Channel, Product and Supply Chain teams
  • Assist with the preparation and communication of relevant sales materials to Exertis and Eaton reseller channels
  • To assist with Customer and Commercial Business Unit processes including direct contact with Exertis reseller partners on all aspects of their Eaton business (e.g bid process, order management, product demo, training & accreditation, returns & warranty queries etc.)
  • Develop relationships with key existing and prospective Eaton partners
  • To assist Commercial Business Unit processes such as stock profiling, ordering and booking processes, management of aged stock

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and maintain all relevant Eaton Sales and Technical training and accreditations
  • Act as technical lead from technology and product stand point on Eaton power and infrastructure projects
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPI's
  • Act as a point of escalation for the sales teams and key Eaton accounts
  • Attend relevant Eaton/ Channel Events
  • Distribute Marketing/ Technology/ Product updates both internally and externally
  • Maintain Eaton project pipeline report - defined by qualification stage, size of deal, win chance and sales engagement
  • Attend Eaton site once per month to report on Exertis business as well as training, marketing, product updates
  • Identify, promote and assist partners that should register to the EATON partner programme
  • Monitor Eaton partner activity and identify target/ growth accounts
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct

Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications

  • A proven track record of building relationships in sales or telemarketing role
  • Minimum 2 Years in a Sales role
  • Good planning and organisation skills including time management and workload prioritisation
  • Drive & enthusiasm
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive attitude
  • Excellent customer Service & Handling skills
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm to learn
  • Target & Outcome driven
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel between offices and to customer site as required
