Newstaff Employment Services are looking to recruit a Product Manager Graduate or experienced Civils+ Infrastructure candidate for their client based near Hitchin. The client is a market leading Water Management company.
The purpose of this role is to:
- Manage the Civils +Infrastructure product offering throughout the product lifecycle from planning to execution in support of organizational strategy and objectives, collaborating with other Product Managers
- Work with marketing communications to define the market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers
- To be an internal and external evangelist for the C+I product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers.
The candidate will carry out the following:
You will carry out product life cycle analysis for existing and new products, have product range reviews and present your recommendations. You will also research the market and size of the market in order to capture and create specifications for new and existing products and services, and to perform analysis on market data.
You will assist in the development of product/service opportunities through working in multidisciplinary teams (primarily with technical, commercial and marketing communications) and support new product innovation processes.
Ideal Qualities of the candidate:
If you like having high ownership of a product range and have the desire to work with others pulling together lots of information, analysing and disseminating knowledge with the purpose to contribute to our competitive edge then this role may be for you.
You need to be commercially astute, technically competent, IT literate, have good communication skills and be a completer finisher with great attention to detail. You will need to be organised and capable of planning and are happy to present your work and manage the feedback. You will also enjoy working in a team. Ideally you have a degree in Business Studies or Marketing with some understanding of life cycle analysis, PEST, SWOT and market segmentation and analysis
Although primarily focused on the UK and Irish market you can expect to collaborate with other European countries. Occasional travel in Europe may be needed for the development of this role.
