Mercury Talent are recruiting for a Product Manager within the Vehicle Automotive market for an international automotive electronics company in a period of expansion.

The successful candidate will have experience with the automotive industry ideally bringing new products to market and have worked in vehicle safety, vehicle audio, vehicle connectivity. A qualification in engineering or electronic engineering or automotive engineering or electrical engineering would be advantageous to support you in writing technical specifications.


The Product manager will be responsible for:

  • Develop and grow new and existing products (vehicle safety, audio, vehicle connectivity )
  • Be an expert in your product area and know the consumer market for vehicle safety, audio and connectivity both UK and globally
  • Project manage to ensure that the product is bought to market effectively
  • Understand competitors’ products in the audio, safety and connectivity market
  • Drive Product forward to achieve gross profit margins
  • Liaise with internal engineering research and development
  • Prepare all required product documentation and data including Technical Requirement Documents ( vehicle audio, safety and connectivity )
  • Make all user manuals ensuring product guides are user friendly
