Product Engineering Coordinator

Irvine, Ayrshire

 

Currently recruiting for a Product Engineering Coordinator on behalf of a global award winning Pharmaceutical company based in Irvine, Ayrshire.

 

This role is responsible for creating and maintaining production records, specifications and MRP systems for the manufacture of our products.  The role involves working closely with both internal and external customers to ensure successful manufacture.

 

Key accountabilities: 

 
  • Provide assessments of feasibility
  • Generate manufacturing costs
  • Liaise with other departments to drive manufacture of product and ensure delivery dates are met
  • Liaise with internal sales people and external customers to ensure manufacturing requirements for customer specified products are accurately transcribed and can be compliantly achieved
  • Creating and maintaining Item Masters, Bills of Materials and batch records for new and existing products on SAP
  • Creating and maintaining customer specifications
  • Creating and maintaining label master texts
  • Driving new product set up
  • Ensure that processes adopted for custom products optimise the manufacturing capabilities of the Irvine site
  • Utilise the CRM database to provide information to internal customers
  • Operate in accordance with appropriate regulatory guidelines
  • Identify areas for improvement and co-ordinate improvements compliantly
  • Implement global initiatives at the Irvine site
  • Facilitate the smooth running of the department

     

    Who you are:

     

    Candidates Must Have:   
  • Previous experience working within a cGMP environment is essential????
  • Knowledge of manufacturing with respect to batch processing and aseptic dispensing;
  • Product Filtration
  • BPC filling and use
  • Powder manufacture and processing
  • ERP systems and associated electronic records
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to complete projects with minimal direction
  • Ability to plan and priorities with excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience of using SAP would be beneficial, but is not a pre-requisite for the role

     

    Education:

       Essential: First Degree or equivalent in a Chemical or Biological Science/Engineering

       Desirable: Masters or PhD in a Chemical or Biological Science/Engineering
