Product Developer - Richmond

We are currently recruiting for a Product Developer for a busy client in Richmond, London. You will be an experience product developer and have a good knowledge of the design industry.

Responsible for managing the development of product, success will be delivered by leveraging the positioning of the companies brand in the UK market and tailoring its execution by helping to deliver best in class products for our customer and consumers.

This will involve close liaison with the design team and suppliers / manufacturers from concept development through to final design, ensuring the programs are managed to the agreed timings and product gross margin targets for everyday and seasonal ranges, gift dressings and stationery.

This role requires all of the following attributes:

Excellent organisational skills.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A track record in successfully working with suppliers (UK and International) across the full spectrum of product development, including a good standard of negotiation skills.

Knowledge of print, production, colour management and reprographic techniques.

Strong commercial awareness.

Be able to work well under pressure to meet demanding deadlines.

Have a strategic overview and the ability to see the bigger picture.

Enthusiastic and self-motivated.

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this full time role is £24,000 to £26,000 dependent on experience

Benefits to include 20 days holidays plus bank holidays. Pension
