A company with an outstanding reputation for being the leader within their field is looking to recruit a Product Data Co-ordinator. This is a new role and is a fantastic and unique opportunity for someone to join a company that highly value their staff and understand that a happy and motivated team are going to deliver first class service. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Product Information Database & Management systems (PID/PIM). This includes adhering to data protocols and encouraging the best practice of these within the wider team.
This is an interesting and varied role. You will be able to make the role your own and will work closely with Product Marketing and external partners to ensure the system meets their needs and are compliant with their standards. You will assist with the day to day running of the website and will also work with the Marcoms team to ensure that Digital Asset Management (DAM) meet business needs from a technical perspective. You will work closely with the Head of Digital to ensure that the product database is kept up to date and will take ownership of the e-commerce site.
The Ideal Candidate
This role could suit a number of people, the right person is more important than experience but it is essential that you enjoy a busy data heavy role. Previous experience dealing with data sets and or looking after websites would be a definite advantage. You might be degree educated or have knowledge acquired by work experience. Ideally you will understand the web, data and the principles of database design. It is also essential that you have excellent skills with Microsoft Excel and have a strong ability to grasp and learn new IT systems quickly.
