Procurement/Supply Chain Administrator

The role is varied in its content and will deliver experience over a cross section of business support functions, reporting into the Head Of Supply Chain. The objective is for first class service delivery to our internal and external customers.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of working within a busy environment
  • Ability to translate and reconcile data effectively
  • To appreciate commercial control processes and approach tasks in an orderly fashion
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels
  • An understanding of financial concepts and a desire to learn
  • Strong IT literacies including Microsoft applications and ERP systems

Supplier Management Assessment:

    • Set up of new supplier requests within Agresso meeting agreed service levels
    • Updating of supplier insurances and RISQS details
    • Providing support and advice to the business on the supplier set-up forms and processes
    • Supplier details are kept up to date, in line with change of details requests received
    • Supplier assessments completed with communication provided to the relevant business streams to determine risk so that appropriate action can be determined
    • Ownership of control processes requiring deviation away from standard payment terms
    • Maintain file of all new supplier set-up requests and amendments for auditing purposes
    • Monthly supplier database review to identify redundant accounts for closure
    • Maintain assessed preferred supplier listing with accreditation scoring matrix
    • Pushing back on new supplier requests where alternative suppliers exist
    • Present in regular team meetings issues in respect of overall supply management process

General duties:

  • Weekly production of supplier Masterfile amendment logging report
  • Production of supply chain statistics in line with required format and distribution
  • Weekly production of lease amendment report
  • Production of Corporate Real Estate reports in line with required format and distribution
  • Prime contact for incoming business queries
  • Updating of Supply Chain intranet pages
  • Production of ad-hoc supplier spend reports
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as identified

Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and documentation skills with attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate with all levels of staff and deal professionally with colleagues customers and business partners on a consistent basis displaying strong customer service skills
