The post-holder will be responsible for the procurement of Goods, Services and Works as required under the direction of the Procurement Manager, to achieve the most economically advantageous result.
This will include invitations to quote/tender, commercial evaluations, negotiating with suppliers, and placing orders and contracts in accordance with legislation.
You will also be responsible for allocating work and monitoring outputs for 2 more junior members of the team.
We are looking for someone with procurement or buying experience in the public sector, and ideally an understanding or knowledge of how NHS procurement works.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a collaborative team-focused environment.
