Procurement Specialist required for a growing food business in South West London.

An exciting FMCG brand based in South West London are looking for a Procurement Executive to join their team. This company are passionate about their products and provide a unique, bespoke food product service to their clients. Your new role
As the Procurement Executive you will be supporting the Procurement Manager as well as leading your own procurement initiatives across the purchasing of goods and services for the business. You will be delivering category management plans and agreeing product plans with internal stakeholders. You will then use this to identify and negotiate with potential suppliers within the food production sector. You will be reviewing old and new contracts as well as drafting new ones. You will be able to marry up price and quality for all company requirements and utilise effective procurement strategies to help the business run as efficiently as possible.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this Procurement Specialist role you will ideally have experience within the food sector, and or experience within an SME company environment as they operate very differently to a multi-national FMCG organisation. You will be proactive, independent, and communicative. You must demonstrate effective procurement techniques in a previous role, through contract negotiation, achieving savings targets, and supplier analysis and management. If you are CIPS qualified this would be advantageous but not a necessity.
