Procurement Officer

We are working with a membership organisation based in central London to recruit an experienced Procurement Officer. The successful candidate will have experience within procurement and have a passion/interest in the NFP sector.

Main duties for the Procurement Officer:
Deliver procurement strategy, identify cost saving targets for the year
Lead tender processes and negotiations
Maintain centralised contract register
Develop new procurement processes and procedures
Monitor and manage supplier contracts
Review procurements procedures ensuring they are in line with current legislation and best proactive

Essential criteria for the Procurement Officer:
Previously worked within a purchasing role
Excellent communication and numerous skills
Ability to write complex reports and tender documents
Previous experience of negotiating with suppliers
Previous experience of implementing new processes and procedures
CIPS qualification is desirable
