This highly regarded Cambridgeshire based organisation are looking an experienced procurement professional to join their established team.
Your new role
Working within a procurement function that has high levels of engagement and profile across the organisation, this role has responsibility across an Indirect category of spend. This role will provide commercial advice and support the delivery of the Procurement management strategy, leading negotiations with suppliers and securing buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for helping the organisation to manage key commercial risks to achieve best value for money.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be working towards CIPS with experience of OJEU an advantage but not essential. Demonstrable procurement experience, ideally in an Indirect procurement capacity is required and you will have experience of dealing with and influencing internal stakeholders, meeting their needs and expectations and solving problems that may arise. You will have a track record of setting high standards and delivering results.
