Basingstoke based large Facilities Management company with a long standing background in looking after high profile clients across a number of sectors.
Your new role
As Procurement Manager you will be taking responsibility for ensuring a robust procurement process is in place and tailored to each client. You will be required to develop and maintain new and existing service provider relationships, continuously evaluating processes for each specific business. You will be leading, defining and implementing category strategies for selected portfolios whilst maximising the opportunity for rebates from service providers.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Procurement Manager you will have experience in a similar role and sector, if not qualified already you will be working towards your CIPS qualification. You will have experience in implementing change including cultural and operational changes and overcoming resistance to this by using your excellent communication and presentation skills. You will have excellent analytical/numerical skills and be self motivated to succeed working as part of a team.
