My client is a major supplier into the construction sector operating on a global scale with a number of subsidiaries throughout Europe. They are an increasingly growing business, offering extensive career development, and are always looking to strengthen their team with highly driven professionals.
The role will be based at their site in Sheffield, as part of a highly professional procurement team, with responsibility of end to end category development.
My client is looking for a highly analytical Procurement professional with strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and report back on successful gains and cost savings through competitive supply sources.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
-Manage tenders and framework agreements
-Negotiate costs and contractual agreements, exercising mitigation activity where required
-Analysing market and sourcing new vendors where applicable
-Supplier management, ensuring compliance, regularity requirements are met
-Developing procurement strategy in line with business targets
-Produce regular reports, detailing spend against budgets
Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences:
-A minimum three years' Procurement experience within civils, controls, electrical and
-instrumentation engineering services
-Excellent team management and leadership skills
-Strong negotiator with ability to demonstrate cost saving and sourcing exercises
-Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
