Procurement Manager

Our client, a private, non-profit making social enterprise, is currently looking to recruit a Procurement Manager on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity to sit within, and support, a senior leadership team that is second to none following a successful period of transformation.

The successful post holder will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activity and will drive value for money and ensure procurement processes are efficiently managed in line with up to date procurement legislation. Key areas of responsibility include; reviewing internal procurement policies, making sure activity is in line with procurement law, documenting and updating procurement processes, driving value for money throughout the organisation, automating and standardising procurement for the organisation and delivering annual procurement savings.

The ideal candidate will be either CIPS qualified or equivalent or have a track record of delivery in a similar role. strong IT and Microsoft Office skills, report writing skills and knowledge of procurement systems and frameworks.
