Procurement Manager

Our well established Essex based client are currently looking for an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to join their team. You will need to have a proven track record of corporate category procurement and will be motivated by delivering cost savings and improving levels of service.

Duties include;
- Sourcing equipment, goods and services to include energy, print, logistics, stationary, furniture, office equipment and other business requirements
- Developing and executing purchasing strategies for the Corporate Category
- Track and report cost savings
- Improve effectiveness
- Demonstrate savings delivery
- Negotiate and monitor vendor rebates/savings
- Develop supplier relationships

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of category management, strong negotiation skills and the ability to create and deliver Indirect procurement strategies. You will ideally hold a purchasing qualification and have good knowledge of purchasing tools.

This is a growing business and team, so there is plenty of opportunity for the successful candidate. Working as part of a busy team, this is an exciting, challenging role that will give you ownership of the indirect category. Free car parking is available on site
