Procurement Manager 
3-6 months contract (potential to extend for up to 2 years)

Leeds City Council is one of the largest employers in West Yorkshire, with around 33,000 employees based over multiple sites. These roles are working within their large housing department where you will perform the role of a Procurement Manager. The department you will be managing is going through significant change and having the right manager is crucial to its success. 

The team that you will be managing perform the following tasks :- category management, formulating invitations to tenders, contract negotiation, monitoring performance in line with objectives, building relationships with budget-holders along with guidance and advice on all related procurement issues

For this role you will ideally have experience within Procurement Management with ideally a CIPS qualification.
