You will be working for a public sector organisation based in Warwickshire.
Your new role
The main purpose of this vacancy is to manage and deliver successful procurement exercises with both internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the Procurement Manager with the shared goal of gaining the best understanding of requirements for tenders and contracts. You will produce tenders and quotations, give advice and support to stakeholders and project managers to successfully deliver user specifications and projects. You will select the appropriate procurement route and assessment criteria to deliver effective, value for money contracts including tender exercises, framework competitions and quotations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be CIPS Level 5 qualified or higher, if not studying towards currently. You will have experience and strong knowledge of public sector procurement rules and regulations, tendering and quotation procedures and e-procurement tools and techniques.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid a starting salary between £32,000 and £34,000 depending on experience and will be privy to a leading public sector benefits package.
