The role

The Procurement Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that the company requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner. The individual will be a highly organized and competent individual who demonstrates excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role will focus on purchasing duties including working with vendors, contracts and our internal operational system.

What you'll do

  • Work with local stakeholders to ensure that the administration of purchasing related projects is fully managed
  • Assist in soliciting competitive quotes for standard goods from a selection of preferred suppliers
  • Analyse quotes and qualify vendors
  • Order and purchase routine goods from vendors
  • Generate purchase orders for vendors
  • Set up and maintain vendor tickets in the internal system
  • Develop an excellent knowledge of preferred supplier base and regularly required goods and services
  • Support finance team with work as required
  • Work with consultants and external partners on special event planning and preparation when required
  • Ensure that the administration of all purchasing and accounting requests are handled with exemplary attention to detail and within pre-defined time frames
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, paying particular attention to the Legal team to ensure that their requirements and company policies are met
  • Assist in various projects as required

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Highly organized with multitasking and problem-solving ability
  • Professional with strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on many tasks at any one time
  • Self-starter who has the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with JIRA or MS Dynamics is desirable
